Family Savings, both years

The deal: a standing order of €100 to €1,000 a month, rate fixed for 12 months at 3.00%. At the end of the term you can withdraw or roll into another 12 month term at the then-current After Year 1 rate, currently 1.25%. The year-one rate has not moved since September 2023; the cliff between the two is the product.

There is no EBS fixed term account open to new customers, and instant access pays 0.25%. So the natural EBS journey, save for a year then park the lump, ends with the lump earning 0.25% unless it leaves EBS. The market table shows where it goes.
